1. DOWNLOAD:
This Video was made using Microsoft PowerPoint. To translate the
Video, you will first need to download the PowerPoint file (.PPTX/PPT) from our
website. Find the file, and save it to your computer.
(If you don't have Microsoft PowerPoint you can get a free trial version
here.
Earlier versions of PowerPoint do not make videos,
only the recent versions of PowerPoint allow this.)
2. TRANSLATE:
Then you'll need to go through each page of the PowerPoint, and
translate that English Page into your language.
3. RECORD YOUR VOICE & TIMINGS:
Once that is finished, you'll need to Record Your Voice for each
Slide/Page along with the timing you want on each slide. Instructions
here.
4. PREVIEW, DOUBLE CHECK:
Once you have put your voice over each slide, then preview the whole
presentation to make sure it is perfect.
5. SAVE AS VIDEO, WMV
Then have Powerpoint save the Presentation into a WMV Video File.
Instructions
Here.
(When doing this, you won't have
any background music, just your voice. PowerPoint allows you to play MP3s in
a presentation for background music, by putting them on the first slide, but
please make sure that any background music volume is low, non-obnoxious
instrumental music, and never interferes with your voice. I personally add
the background music in after the video is finished using Adobe Audition,
but this is much more complicated.)
6. SEND TO US:
If possible, give us a copy, so we can put it on the website, or onto
Youtube. If you want to send large files to someone on the internet, you may
need to search Google for "SENDING LARGE FILES"
