The negative is also wanting in the Septuagint, as it is in the Complutensian Polyglott; Και ηρωτον αυτον ποθεν εστιν, και το ονομα αυτον, ουκ απηγγειλεν μοι.. "And I asked him whence he was, and his name, but he did not tell me."
